Owner and chief pilot of Liberty Balloon Co. Carroll Teitsworth is designated by the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) as a Balloon Pilot Examiner. This means that Mr. Teitsworth is authorized to administer Private and Commercial Practical (Oral and Flight) tests. He is also authorized to issue Student, Private, and Commercial Pilot Certificates to balloon pilots.

Because of his extensive travel schedule, Mr. Teitsworth is sometimes available to do flight tests in remote areas of the country where Pilot Examiner services are not normally available.
