At Liberty Balloon Company, our mission is to share with everyone the beauty of creation through the joy of lighter than air flight. Most kids do not have the opportunity to fly in a balloon themselves. This is where our inspirational, educational and innovative hands-on hot air program “The Sky’s the Limit!” takes center stage. Our unique hot-air balloon assembly program transforms an ordinary school day into a truly magical experience!

Assembly program includes:

• An illustrated presentation on the fascinating history and science of ballooning
• An indoor inflation of a real hot air balloon
• Students are guided INSIDE the inflated balloon!
• An outdoor demonstration of the balloon basket and burners (weather permitting)

Ballooning weather does not typically happen during school hours. Our INDOOR program is the solution!

Assemblies and demonstrations are primarily indoor activities to avoid the weather restrictions on live ballooning. A live, outdoor inflation including tethered rides can be incorporated into your program for an additional fee. Given the extreme weather sensitivity of any outdoor hot air balloon activity, any program scheduled outdoors includes the indoor program as a backup.

If we can inspire students to think of new questions, then we have helped them discover an invaluable treasure. To educate is to inspire; and to inspire is to educate! We seek to connect mere “balloon facts” with the inspiration generated by the awe of the aircraft itself! This combination gives rise to questions that truly ignite that flames of inquiry and learning. Through our hot air balloon assembly experience, students are drawn into a previously unknown world that educates in ways that few others can rival! And it brings us great joy to connect these increasingly enthused and inquisitive students with the beauty of our magnificent aircraft.
