At Liberty Balloon Company, our mission is to share with everyone the beauty of creation and the joy of lighter than air flight. It’s easy to imagine that riding in a hot air balloon will feel magical. We bring that magic to thousands of people who for all kinds of reasons might never take a ride in a hot air balloon!
This is where our inspirational, educational and innovative hands-on hot air balloon demonstrations take center stage. When not flying passenger flights, our team makes event appearances that transform those events into truly magical experiences!
Balloon Demonstrations include:
- An illustrated presentation on the history and science of ballooning
- An indoor inflation of a real hot air balloon
- Students are guided INSIDE the inflated balloon!
- An outdoor demonstration of the balloon basket and burners (weather permitting)

Weather proof
Assemblies and demonstrations are primarily indoor activities to avoid the weather restrictions on live ballooning. A live, outdoor inflation including tethered rides can be incorporated into your program for an additional fee. Given the extreme weather sensitivity of any outdoor hot air balloon activity, any program scheduled outdoors includes the indoor program as a backup.
